We provide information, guidance, and support to individuals seeking a pardon or expungement in Wisconsin. Our goal is to help you understand the process, prepare the required documents, and take steps toward a fresh start.
Pardon: A pardon forgives a past conviction. It restores certain civil rights (like serving on a jury or owning a firearm) but does not erase the record.
Expungement: Expungement seals certain criminal records so they are not publicly visible in background checks. Not all cases are eligible.
We have experience working with clients in various industries, including healthcare, technology, finance, and non-profits.Generally, you may be eligible if you:
Have completed your sentence (including supervision) at least five years ago,
Have no pending criminal charges, and
Have demonstrated positive contributions to your community.
*CAN NOT BE on the sex offender registry
Eligibility varies, so we help you review your specific situation.
Expungement is only available in limited cases, usually if:
You were under 25 years old at the time of the offense,
The offense was a misdemeanor or certain low-level Class Hand I felonies, and
You successfully completed your sentence without revocation.
We offer two options:
